Coil built vase, glazed naturally by fire and ash in the Anagama kiln. This vase was located in the very front of the 40ft long kiln where the fire box is located (see photo). There is no control in how the glaze and texture will turn out due to the unpredictability of wood firing. This piece is one of a kind!

The interior is lined with shino glaze, making the vase able to hold water for freshly cut flowers.
